There are some Christians who are falling away from God, because of going through hard times. Just remember the hard times that Jesus went through for us, just to save us, to give us a way of escape. He was ridiculed, spit upon, accused of communicating with demons, etc, then that was not enough, He was whipped and beat until His flesh laid open, you could see His rib cage. By His stripes we all were healed. Then he was led from judgment hall to judgment hall, and the 12 men closest to Him all deserted Him when it was time for His arrest. One denied Him three times before the cock crowed as predicted by Jesus. Jesus was a bloody mess. They made Him carry His own cross on His shoulders, and Hung Him high and stretched Him wide just for you and me. They pressed a thorn of sharp pointed crown of thorn down on His forehead, I know it hurt, but He endured it for us. Then they drove nails through His feet and hands. I can hear the pounding even now. Then Jesus looked down upon those who was crucifying Him and felt love and compassion still. He said Father forgive them for they know not what they do. Then the thrust a long sharp sphere into His side and out came bloody water a covering, atonement for our sins. Remember He could have come down off the cross and save Himself, but He refused and decided to stay on the cross to die just to save a wretch like you and me. And Jesus even bore every kind of sickness and disease, you name it, at that time Jesus had it upon Him. Now my point is, what are we complaining about when our Lord, our Messiah, our King of kings did all of this for us out of love. Now that's true agape love. Yet many in the body of Christ still complain and wallow in their problems when Jesus bore them all on the cross. Nuff said. Jesus deserves better from all of us. Finally, the Word of God says the shame of it-meaning that Jesus had no cloths on. He was naked on the cross...I salute you my King, and I just want to say thank you for all that you have done for me and the whole wide world. I appreciate you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Now get up and stop wallowing in your problems, and your self pity because of what Jesus did at the cross you can now go boldly to the throne and submit your prayer request. He is our High Priest now, our advocate, our Mediator. Forget about yourself and concentrate on Him and worship Him, why? Because Jesus is truly worthy to be praised.
